We can’t wait for the warm weather! With the snow finally out of sight, it’s time to get back out on the road and take in some of the best that Ontario has to offer. From food and drink to special interest festivals and more, these are some of our favourite festivals happening this spring for you and your family to enjoy!
Apple Pie Trail
When: April 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018
Where: Multiple locations
Starting April 1, 2017, explore Grey and Simcoe Counties with the self-guided Apple Pie Trail! Participating cities and towns will have all sorts of apple-themed “trail stops” including events, food, demonstrations, history and more. You can see as much or as little as you want!
TIFF Kids International Film Festival
When: April 7 to April 23, 2017
Where: Toronto, Ontario
The world-renowned Toronto International Film Festival happens in September, but in the meantime, you can head to their Kids International Film Festival! It celebrates the power of film not just as entertainment, but for fostering ideas and celebrating young filmmakers.
Elora Vintage & Antique Show
When: April 22 to April 23, 2017
Where: Elora, Ontario
For fans of antiquing and flea markets, this is the place for you! The Elora Vintage & Antique Show is the premier antique event in Western Ontario, and features a wide range of collectors from Toronto to Windsor. Its location in scenic Elora makes it the perfect relaxing weekend escape.
Ottawa Poutinefest (World of Poutine)

Northern Ontario Expo
