Why We Use Computerized Inventory
Going Here viagra drug classAt Logel’s we believe in reducing our customers waiting times for car parts, because we know how frustrating it can be trying to do day-to-day tasks without your vehicle. To minimize these wait times, we have a state of the art computerized inventory system.
When we receive a new car, we take the parts that can be reused and add them to our inventory system. By doing this, we have built a catalogue of all the parts we have for sale in our shop. Since we started using this computerized inventory system we’ve notice that there are three main ways that it has helped us achieve our goal in reducing our customers wait times.
1. We can quickly check if we have the product in stock without having to go look for it. This means that we will have a quick yes or no answer as to whether or not we have the product, as well as make it more transparent if we are running low on a part, so we can order new ones if necessary.
2. When new parts arrive in our shop, they are first removed from their previous vehicles and inspected for quality and safety. Only once this is completed are they added to the inventory system for purchase. When customers need a part, we can check our inventory system and know that if a part is there it’s ready to be purchased, eliminating the need for customers to wait while we inspect the necessary parts.
3. This automated inventory system also reduces the wait times that were associated with the delivery of products. When we need to deliver a part, we know that if the inventory system says it is available then it is inspected and ready for delivery. Again, this reduces the time it takes to get a part ready for delivery.
We’re quite proud of this system, but don’t just take our word for it. Come in to Logel’s and see the difference a computerized inventory system makes in the efficiency of our work.
