Logel’s new production and distribution facility in Erin, Ontario, is up and running! We are excited to announce that in April 2018 we expanded our company to include an indoor automotive recycling plant and distribution centre.

We designed this facility to work as a ‘reverse manufacturing’ plant to maximize efficiency and maintain a pollution-free environment. At the time of writing, we scored a 98% on our environmental audit, and plan on being the first facility to score 100% within the next few months.

The new facility is 72,000 square feet and located right in between our Kitchener location and the GTA. We are now able to effectively reach all of our customers in Southwestern Ontario quickly and easily through various delivery routes, utilizing both locations as delivery hubs.

We are currently dismantling up to 30 late model vehicles per week and we plan to double that within our first year.

What does our new location mean to you?

Faster Delivery Times

We have more parts on the shelf that are ready to go. This means we have reduced wait times and have increased the number of delivery routes.

Bigger Selection Of Parts

Having a full dismantle facility dedicated to late model vehicles means that we can maintain a constant inventory.

Better Quality

Becoming less reliant on other suppliers means that we are confident that the parts coming off our shelves have been tested and inspected to the highest standards.

Lower Prices

Increased inventory allows us to have more control over pricing and that means reduced costs for our customers.

Being able to better serve our customers was a major reason for our expansion — and maintaining an environmentally superior recycling facility is exciting news. The new facility provides us with enough space to be able to house every step of our process indoors. Not a single vehicle will be stored outside, pre or post-dismantle, which will ensure that all fluids are collected and stored in the safest way possible.

As we move forward, we want to thank our Kitchener-Waterloo community for the last 59 years of business — and extend a thank you to our new (second) home in Erin!
